Photoshoot #1 - 80's Ski Resort

This was our first photoshoot. We were assigned a partner to collaborate on creating a concept for the photoshoot, styling three outfits, and decide on hair andmakeup. We also had to source our own model for the shoot. Since there was no budget to buy clothing my partner and I sourced all of our outfits from our closets and our parent's closets. Our concept was 80's Ski Resort. This was the quickest shoot, we had only had an hour for three outfit changes. Our first outfit was with the ski suit and full ski gear, our second outfit was an inbetween look from full ski gear to relaxing in the lodge, and our third outfit was a look created to be a relaxed look after a long day of skiing. I chose the images that were used for my magazine. I chose an output that was high fashion, lookbook style of magazine.

Photoshoot #2 - African Collection

This was our second photoshoot. We were assigned to a group to style the African collection created by the design students. We had to source location, models, and photographer for this shoot. My group collaborated on the concept that we wanted to brign out the raw, feministic, and natural environement that we believed the collection represented. We all worked on hair and makeup together. The location of the shoot was at the Botanical Gardens of OSU. This was my favorite shoot because everything came together so well. Our photo was featured in the Euphoria Fashion Show which is a production of design student work.

Photoshoot #3 - LED Garments

This was our last photoshoot. We were assigned a senior designer who creates a full collection for their last year in the program. We had to source models and a photographer and location if necessary. This project was the only one were we were the only stylist on the shoot. I did hair and makeup on the models and let the garments speak for themselves against a whtie background. The concept of the shoot was tough girl with feminine touches but integrating computers into fashion. Each look had differnt LED lights on them and even a few changed colors and designs.This shoot was the smoothest process; photographer was easy going and shot some amazing images and the models and designer were so fun to work with and retouching was simple.
