Let me tell you about myself.

As a graduate from Oklahoma State University, I have a Bachelors Degree in Apparel Merchandising and I graduated in May 2016. During my time at Oklahoma State I have discovered that my main pursuits for a fashion career will be directed towards visual merchandising, styling, or eventually opening my own store.

I am a very outgoing person although I can tend to be shy at first. I work very well with others, so I can contribute my skills and ideas in team setting, as well as motivate my team effectively. I have gained a lot of knowledge and have been given amazing opportunities at Oklahoma State that I believe has prepared me very well for the furture.

As a freshman at OSU I was apart of Residential Leadership College. It prepared me to become a better leader on my campus and helped me with knowing the ins and outs of my first college semester. I participated in Hall Government my freshman and sophomore year; I was floor president when I lived in the dorms freshman year. I volunteered, the summer of 2014, as a Wrangler with Camp Cowboy, which is an extended weekend orientation camp for incoming students here at Oklahoma State University. The Wrangler position at Camp Cowboy is to be the entertainment for the students. Performing skits, cleaning up after meals, and setting up the stage for guest speakers were among the responsibilities I had as a Wrangler. My junior year I joined Merchandising and Apparel Design Association (MADA), the group is formed for my major and it helps propel students further in their professional development. My senior year I was initiated in Phi Upsilon Omicron; it is the National Honor Society for top performing students in the College of Human Sciences.

I loved my time at Oklahoma State University very much but I am looking forward to a bright future in the fashion industry and whereever that takes me.
